About Gadiman Express
It is an express passenger train operated by Indian Railways with a maximum speed of 180 km/h.
Because the service operates between neighboring large cities, the risk of delays is lower than for other trains, but sometimes delays of several hours occur (especially during periods of heavy fog in winter, when delays tend to be more frequent).
If the sightseeing time is shortened or the return train is also delayed, the return time to Delhi will be delayed. Please understand this in advance.
It is especially recommended for railroad enthusiasts! You also have the peace of mind of being able to go to the restroom at any time.
The Gatiman Express operates only one round trip per day.
The train will not operate on Fridays when the Taj Mahal is closed.

Arrangements can be made every day except Friday, when the Taj Mahal is closed.
There is an additional charge (Rs. 1,180) for pick-up and drop-off from locations outside of Delhi, such as Gurgaon, Noida, and Delhi airport.
Ticket reservations begin two months in advance. If there are no seats left on the train, you will not be able to apply. Please apply as early as possible.

Items not included in the arrangement fee
- Driver/guide gratuities (minimum of Rs. 500 each per day for driver and guide for one person; minimum of Rs. 1,000 each per group for two or more persons)
- Tourist entrance fees: Taj Mahal 1,100 rupees, Agra Castle 650 rupees (as of May 10, 2025)
- Soft drinks and alcohol (if ordered)
- Infants (0-5 years old) are not provided with car seats or meals.
Example Schedule
This is only a reference itinerary. We will create your own tour with extra nights and other locations!
A Japanese-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Nizamuddin (NZM) station in Delhi.
Board the 8:10 a.m. departure of the Gatiman Express with a Japanese-speaking guide.
Breakfast served on the train.
Arrive at Agrakant station, nearest Taj Mahal, at 9:50 a.m.
Taj Mahal and Agra Castle sightseeing by private car
Have a wonderful time at the Taj Mahal wearing a rental sari (kurta for men).
If there is time, we will take you to Itimad-ud-Daulah Mausoleum or Mataghberg (extra charge).
Transfer to Delhi by Gatiman Express departing at 5:45 p.m.
Dinner served on the train.
Arrival at Delhi's Nizamuddin station at 19:30.
