Travel Points

  • Valley of Flowers (official name: Valley of Flowers National Park) is a World Heritage Site in Uttarakhand, northern India.
    A short blooming season only from July to August. Visit countless alpine plants and the mythical flower Brahma Kamal blooming in the great nature of the Himalayas.
  • Tour of Hindu and Sikh holy sites
    Visit North India's premier sacred sites, including Devprayag, the birthplace of the Ganges River; Badrinath, one of the four major pilgrimage sites; and Hemkund Sahib, a holy lake at an altitude of 4,300 meters.
  • Our president, Ranjan, will accompany you. This is a special trip that allows you to deeply experience the nature of the Himalayas and the spiritual culture of India, something you cannot experience on a typical sightseeing tour.
  • Application deadline: Monday, June 27, 2026. Minimum 1 participant.

Arrival in Delhi. Driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation.

A Japanese-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel. Take the 6:00 PM train to Rishikesh (4-hour journey).
You will visit famous tourist spots, experience the Aarti (prayer ritual) on the Ganges River, and complete your last-minute travel shopping.

Saturday, July 25

After breakfast, you will head to Govind Ghat by private car. En route, you will pass through the famous Panch Prayags of Uttarakhand.
In the town of Devprayag, the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge, giving birth to the holy Ganges River.

Sunday, July 26th

After breakfast, we will visit the Badrinath Temple and then explore Mana Village, the first famous village on the India-Tibet border.
This village is said to be the place where Sage Vyasa compiled the Vedas in a cave in this area.
Additionally, in this village, you can see the source of the famous Saraswati River.

Monday, July 27th

Travel 4km from Govindghat and begin the hike to Ghangaria following the paved pilgrim path.
Along the trail, there are many restaurants and tea shops where you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful valley scenery while sipping on some tea.
After arriving in Gangaria, I will take a walk around the area in the evening.

Tuesday, July 28

Trekking to the Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (altitude 3,600m)
After an early breakfast, we will start hiking from Gangaria towards the Valley of Flowers.
This valley is a botanist's dream come true!
A rich natural landscape unfolds with a mix of flowers, leaves, and buds of various shapes, sizes, and colors. Rare wildflowers bloom profusely, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene, including blue poppies, meadow geraniums, snake's foil, hooked stick seed, Himalayan roses, river anemones, white-leaf hogweed, dog flowers, and Brahma kamal.

Surrounded by mountains, the lowlands of this place are covered in lush trees, the middle slopes are characterized by brown and gray soil, and the peaks are covered in bright snow.
The clear blue sky is creating a breathtakingly beautiful landscape.
After enjoying the beauty of the Valley of Flowers, we will hike back to Ghangaria.

Wednesday, July 29

Trekking to Hemkund Sahib (altitude 4,300m)
After an early breakfast, we will set off on a hike from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib.
The Sikh holy scripture, Guru Granth Sahib, describes Guru Gobind Singh meditating in a past life by a lake surrounded by seven snow-capped mountains.
Walking up a steep slope, you will reach Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara. The lake spreads out just behind it.
Warm yourself at the Gurdwara and enjoy warm tea and khichdi.

Let's walk to the other side of Kemkund Lake. It's enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and peace.
Around here, you can see clusters of the rare Himalayan flower, Brahma Kamal.
This flower only grows in high altitudes of 3,000 meters or higher. In the late afternoon, we will hike back to Gangaria.

1) Schedule
This course includes many sections that travel through mountainous areas. Depending on the weather and road conditions, the itinerary may be changed to prioritize safety. As a result, some tourist sites may not be visited, or the accommodation may be changed. We ask for your understanding of the unique circumstances of the region and your participation.

2) Altitude sickness
This course visits a high-altitude area of 3,500-4,000 meters, so there is a risk of altitude sickness. We plan to walk for about 6-7 hours per day in the Valley of Flowers, so you will need to be in good health and have sufficient physical strength to cope with activities at high altitudes.

3) Overseas Insurance
We ask that you enroll in overseas travel insurance that covers medical expenses, treatment for illness and injury, and rescuer costs.

4) Required items to bring
Rain gear for trekking (separate top and bottom), summer sleeping bag, fleece or down jacket, light mountaineering boots

5) Consolidated cargo
This tour will be a shared tour with Indians and foreigners.
