Application

Please be sure to read and agree to the terms before applying.

Please note that although we can arrange private cars , we do not make the following arrangements:
・International flights
・Itineraries that do not include a guide (only train, bus, domestic flights, hotel, and beauty salon reservations, etc.)

Ⅰ. Flow from application to tour

1) Add us as a friend on our official LINE account (@846hcjad) and discuss your trip details, such as routes, domestic flights, trains, accommodations, and any special requests.

2) Once your application is confirmed, please make payment: See “II. Application Procedure” and “III. Payment”.

3) We will take detailed requests as appropriate (There are some things that you can’t really understand until you actually come to India, so we can discuss them while you’re traveling)

4) We will send you the final itinerary by email one week before the trip

5) Seeing is believing , and your requests may change once you’re in India. We will ask you about your requests as appropriate during the trip, and as much as possible, we will provide you with an original trip that meets your requests.

II. Application

1) Formal application procedure: Once the following three steps have been completed, we will begin making various arrangements.

1. Provide your customer information: Name and address in Roman letters, email address, mobile phone number (we will send you a link for customer registration)

2. Passport photos of all participants (not required if arranging only airport transfers) : This document is required for train and air travel reservations, as well as for our accounting audits.

3. Payment of travel expenses

If the payment deadline is exceeded, we may need to re-estimate the cost.

In addition, you may not be able to make planned hotel reservations, domestic flights within India, or sleeper train reservations.

2) In addition to the travel expenses, we ask for tips for the driver and guide.

As a guide, for one person, the driver and guide will each cost at least 500 rupees per day. For two or more people, the average fee is at least 1,000 rupees per day per group.

If you are only arranging an airport transfer, tipping is not necessarily required as the trip will only be for a short period of time.

“I will introduce you to the tipping culture in India, which is a custom that does not exist in Japan.”

In India, tipping is an important way of expressing gratitude to service providers.

The reality is that drivers are paid very little, with the assumption that they will receive tips from customers. In particular, for drivers, the fees paid to the company that arranges the cars do not necessarily translate directly into higher wages or benefits.

Even if you include tips in the tour price, the full amount will not be reflected in the driver’s salary. The most effective way to improve their working conditions is to give them tips directly from you.

This will then make you feel more positive and motivated to do your best again tomorrow to serve customers, which will result in an invisible change in the quality of your service.

Please understand the custom of tipping and consider giving an appropriate tip for good service. Tipping is requested but not mandatory. If you feel the service was poor, you do not have to pay.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

In addition, if you receive a service from someone working in the tourism industry, you will need to give a tip.
Please give a tip after receiving the service.
(Examples of the standard rate: snake charmers, traditional dancers, and taking photos with staff working at tourist spots (from 50 rupees), boatmen (from 200 rupees), elephant trainers (from 100 rupees))

3) If you request Ranjan as your guide or interpreter, a separate fee will be charged depending on the itinerary. In addition, Ranjan may not be able to guide you during peak seasons due to management commitments or other company circumstances.

4) For infants (0-5 years old), we will not provide seats, beds, meals, etc. in cars or trains.

5) Accommodation

In Indian hotels, the number of twin rooms is extremely limited, and most rooms have a double and a king-size bed.
In some cases, you may not be able to get a twin room even if you request one.
